Contact Us Page

When you are building a website for a company there are some things that it needs to include. Whether you're marketing your dentist Ajax office or trying to sell water filters, one of the things that your potential customers will be looking for is a contact page with information on how to reach you by more than just your email address. There are several different reasons why this page is so important and some things that you should consider including on it.

People do a lot of business online these days without needing to leave their home or the office. You can get dollhouses sent to your door in a matter of days for a child's birthday or can order one thousand parts for a manufacturing firm. One of the reasons that people feel comfortable doing this is because they know who they are dealing with and how to contact them if something goes wrong. Web security experts advise that you should never give any financial or personal information to a website that you cannot trace back to a phone number and physical address. So, you need to let your customers know what these are if you want their business.

Some companies these days exist only online and do not have a physical office or store that people can visit to buy framed wall art or get financial advise. But that doesn't mean that you don't have an address and phone number to give them. This could be your home address and cell phone number. It needs to be there even if you're asking people to use your email address as your primary form of communication. And it is a good idea to have a real address rather than a post office box whenever possible. That will be more reassuring as legitimate to new customers.

There are two different ways that people usually include their contact information on their website. The first is to set up a separate page that tells people all of the ways that they can get into touch with your Orillia catering company or interior design firm. The second is to put a header or footer on all of the pages that lists this information. It is up to you to decide which option suits you better. If you want people to be able to find you quickly than you might want to have it available on every page. If you're advertising vacuum trucks, for instance, and most of your customers will be contacting you through the website than you might not have to worry so much about this information being easily available. All you need to do is make sure it is there and findable to those who want to know.
